Thirty-second tour

Launch Raven and you get a single shell pane and the sidebar. ⌘D splits the focused pane along its longer axis — keep pressing it and panes tile into a balanced BSP grid. ⌘T opens a new space; ⌘K opens the command palette, which reaches everything else: the notes and pull-request panes, the Theme Studio, the resource monitor, and settings.

Run claude or codex (or 14 other agent CLIs) in any pane and the sidebar picks it up automatically, shows a live state dot — idle, working, or waiting for you — and streams the whole picture up to the notch companionif it's running. Agent detection runs locally. The agents themselves use the providers and network connections you configure.

How the pieces fit

Raven is the native window. raven-muxd owns the sessions and keeps them alive independently of the window. The raven-term CLI lets you inspect and control them from scripts.

The notch companion and RavenRemote are optional. Remote access, dictation, and other integrations use the connections you configure; the core terminal runs locally.
